The famous Islamic scholars of the time Paravanna, Khutubi, Paanghil, Kanniyat, Chaliyath Abdul Rahman Musaliyar and K.K. Abubekker Hazrath who formed Bustanu-saliheen Arabic College (Bsa) the precursor of Afsalul Ulama College were conducting Quran, Fiqh and Sunnah in the above institution. Considering the educational backwardness in the community Dars committee appointed paid staff to chase the absconding students and thereby to prevent the dropouts in the primary stages. It was a modest attempt by the committee to ensure a permanent vigil over students who learn Quran, Deeniyath and other subjects
